Bank of America (BAC), Goldman Sachs and 19 other firms plan a joint dollar stablecoin for 2027. Circle (CRCL) and Coinbase (COIN) fell Tuesday.

Twenty-one banks and asset managers committed Tuesday to establish a company that will issue a US dollar stablecoin, with a market launch targeted for the first half of 2027. JPMorgan is not part of it. Circle and Coinbase both fell.
