How our articles are made
We use AI tools in our research and production processes to find accurate information, pull market data, surface sources, and check facts and figures against primary records like SEC filings. A person reviews, fact-checks, and edits every article before it goes live. Nothing is published on this site without human review.
Market figures in our articles are checked against primary data before publishing, not copied from other coverage. When an article uses intraday numbers, we say so in the article and time-stamp them, because markets move after we hit publish.
Sourcing
We work from primary sources first: SEC filings on EDGAR, exchange data, official company announcements and newsrooms, and government releases. When we rely on another outlet's reporting, we name it and link it. Charts and data graphics on this site are built by us from raw market data.
Accuracy and corrections
When we find a material error or a reader points one out, we correct the article promptly. Articles that report point-in-time market data (daily movers, intraday recaps) are stamped with the date and time their figures were taken and are generally not re-updated as prices move, since they describe a moment, not a live feed.
