Korea's chip exports nearly tripled in the first 20 days of August and its semiconductor export price index has quadrupled since 2023. Micron, SanDisk, SK Hynix, Samsung and Kioxia all peaked within one week in June and have fallen 21% to 51% since.

Bloomberg reported on Aug. 20, 2026, that Anthropic may make its IPO filing public by the end of August. The company is considering an offering large enough to equal or top the record raise set by SpaceX (SPCX). For a potential October market debut, investors have floated a $2 trillion valuation, more than double the $965 billion figure Anthropic established in May.

CoreWeave (CRWV) signed a multibillion-dollar AI cloud deal with Hudson River Trading, but neither company disclosed the terms.
CoreWeave signed a multi-year deal with Hudson River Trading to power the quant trading firm's AI research on Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 and HGX B200 systems. Neither company disclosed a dollar figure. It's CoreWeave's latest large infrastructure deal after a $21 billion Meta contract and a $104 billion revenue backlog.

Nvidia's quarterly filing shows three direct customers at 21, 17 and 16 percent of revenue. Lucent disclosed only one customer above 10 percent, AT&T, which peaked at 15 percent before a collapse that cost it $16.1 billion in a single year. The scale of today's exposure is larger, but the accounting that actually destroyed Lucent is absent from Nvidia's guarantee.

Marvell signed a custom AI chip deal with Google and issued a warrant for up to 58.97 million shares at $206.58 each, worth about $12.2 billion. MRVL jumped as much as 13%, while Broadcom and other AI chip suppliers fell.

Nebius (NBIS) is selling $4.5 billion of convertible notes, and the stock dropped about 9% on the news
Nebius announced a $4.5 billion convertible notes offering split between 2030 and 2034 maturities, plus exchanges of its existing 2029 and 2031 notes for new shares. NBIS shares fell about 9% Wednesday on the dilution risk.

Samsung shareholders want a $32.5 billion buyback, and they're moving to force a vote on it. SK Hynix just committed $28.6 billion to the same idea.
A shareholder group called ACT wants Samsung to buy back and cancel 45.5 trillion won ($32.5 billion), three days before SK Hynix approved its own 40 trillion won buyback, and is pushing to force a shareholder vote on it.
