Meta has agreed to buy Stockholm startup Stilla to speed up development of Meta Business Agent, the AI that handles customer chats and sales for merchants on WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram, Axios reported Wednesday. No price was disclosed, and neither company has confirmed the deal. Stilla raised $5 million in January and was founded by the two people who built Tictail and later Shop Pay at Shopify.
