IonQ (IONQ) jumps on a quantum error-correction claim and a first system for Nvidia's research center
IonQ shares jumped after the company said it built the first end-to-end real-time quantum error decoder on a single CPU, tested on simulated circuits of up to 408 logical qubits. IonQ also said its Superion 256 will be the first on-premises quantum computer at Nvidia's research center in 2027.

Anderon, IBM's Albany quantum foundry, signed its final $1 billion CHIPS award on Wednesday and named no outside customer. D-Wave's Advantage2 prototype came from a SkyWater fab that IonQ bought in July, Rigetti runs its own fab in Fremont, and neither IonQ nor Quantum Computing Inc received an award.
