Anduril wins an $85 million Air Force contract that runs to 2036
The Air Force gave Anduril a ten-year research contract worth up to $85 million and obligated $50,000 against it. The company still has no IPO date.

Nebius (NBIS) is raising GPU rental prices up to 21% on October 1. CoreWeave (CRWV) told bond buyers it is charging more too.
Nebius will raise pay-as-you-go rates for renting selected Nvidia chips from October 1, its second increase in three months, with GPUs up 17% to 21% and memory up about 41%. CoreWeave told convertible-note buyers the same morning that it is signing capacity at higher prices too.

Senator Alan Armstrong ran Williams (WMB) for 14 years. His latest disclosure data lists option purchases.
Armstrong was CEO of Williams Companies from 2011 to 2025 before Governor Kevin Stitt appointed him to the Senate in March. A September 17 disclosure lists two Williams option entries from August, months after he sold $5 million to $25 million of the stock in June.

CleanSpark (CLSK) names Meta as its Georgia data center tenant. A unit wants $2.227 billion in secured notes.
CleanSpark identified Meta as the tenant on its 175 MW Sandersville campus while a subsidiary went out for $2.227 billion of senior secured notes due 2031.

CoreWeave (CRWV) wants $3 billion in convertible notes. It opened a 35 million share stock program the same day.
CoreWeave plans $3 billion of convertible senior notes due 2033, with a $500 million option, and signed an equity distribution agreement covering up to 35 million shares. Its investor deck puts recent short-dated third-quarter contracts at about $40 million per megawatt.

America is building chip factories. Samsung and Micron (MU) are struggling to find the workers.
A McKinsey and SEMI Foundation report projects a US chip worker shortfall of 127,000 to 157,000 by 2030. Only 3% of US graduates who take engineering jobs go into semiconductors. The short-term fix is Korean staff on temporary assignment.

Japan and US discuss a chip plant worth up to $19 billion. GlobalFoundries (GFS) would run it.
The plant would be built in the United States, not Japan, and could count toward Japan's investment pledge under the $550 billion tariff agreement. It is the first chip project to surface under that pledge, and neither government has confirmed it.

QQQ rose 0.03% on the Fed hike. Across the 11 hikes from 2022 to 2023 it closed higher on 5 and lower on 6, and the size of the increase did not set the direction. A rate rise has not told you which way the Nasdaq 100 would close.

Amazon (AMZN) gets a Generac (GNRC) stock warrant tied to generator purchases. Generac shares jump 33% after hours.
Generac granted Amazon a warrant covering shares equal to about 2.9% of its stock at $200.9266, above Wednesday's close. Most of it vests only as Amazon's generator purchases reach set thresholds, up to $8 billion. Expected deliveries are $2.4 billion in 2027 and 2028.

Viking Global reports 5.4% of Regal Rexnord (RRX), a larger stake than before Viking sold part of the position in the second quarter
Viking cut a third of its Regal Rexnord position in the second quarter, when the stock was at $238. The Schedule 13G it filed on September 16 reports 1,476,986 more shares than that June 30 figure, and puts the firm over 5% as of September 9.

China AI ETF (AICH) launches with Z.AI and MiniMax. Four unnamed swaps carry 23% of its disclosed weights.
EMXETF's China AI ETF started trading Wednesday. Its first holdings file lists Hygon, Zhongji Innolight, Z.AI and MiniMax, plus four swap entries worth 23% of the weights shown that the file does not identify. The prospectus charges 0.86% and warns the fund may be unable to buy A-shares.

A Korean venture firm bought Anthropic at an $18 billion valuation and SpaceX before its IPO
The Korean firm's venture arm paid about $10 million for Anthropic secondary shares in 2024 and the same for SpaceX in 2025. What the valuation multiple does and does not tell you.

IBM (IBM) unit finalizes $1 billion quantum foundry award. Government equity terms remain undisclosed.
Anderon, the IBM company running a quantum wafer foundry in Albany, has signed its final $1 billion award with the Commerce Department. It was the largest of nine proposed in May. Commerce made minority equity stakes a condition of the funding. Anderon's release does not spell out its terms.

SK Hynix (SKHY) is discussing US memory-chip production with Intel (INTC). Leasing its Ohio site is one option.
Reuters reports SK Hynix may lease part of Intel's Ohio plant or form a cloud-backed venture there. Two months ago it denied a report that it wanted to buy the site.

Anthropic's CEO asked the industry to slow down. The company's reported $100 billion IPO remains on an October schedule
Dario Amodei published a call to slow the AI race on September 12. Within 48 hours Reuters reported Anthropic had picked Nasdaq, Nvidia was weighing a $10 billion anchor order, and the company told shareholders it would post a second straight adjusted operating profit. Sam Altman cited the same safety moment as his reason not to list.

Stanley Druckenmiller held 12.7% of Nevada tungsten developer Guardian Metal (GMTL) as of March 31
The filing is new to EDGAR, the stake is not. Duquesne bought 24,699,825 shares of the Nevada tungsten developer at 55p in August 2025, and the Schedule 13G filed Monday reports the same count still held as of March 31.

Rocket Lab (RKLB) sells $1.94 billion of stock for the Iridium (IRDM) deal and cancels an unused $3.6 billion loan
Rocket Lab completed a $1.944 billion share sale and canceled its $3.6 billion bridge commitment, fully funding the Iridium acquisition days before the shareholder vote. With RKLB under $67.50, the merger formula sits at its floor.

TSMC (TSM) co-COO calls AI a "three-year-old superman." The company is cautious with what it lets AI see.
Y.J. Mii, co-chief operating officer of the world's largest chipmaker, told students in Taipei that AI is powerful but does not know right from wrong. He also said TSMC is more cautious with AI tools on sensitive R&D data, for fear of leaks.

SB Energy will sell up to $500 million of new shares to Japanese investors as part of a US listing that may value it at $50 billion. Nvidia has committed $3 billion, OpenAI holds warrants worth $5.5 billion, and no data center capacity is operating yet.
